In Part Two of Willie O’Ree’s story, we pick up right where we left off: the hospital. Willie has just received the news that he is blind in his right eye after taking a puck to the face. The doctor imforms Willie that he will never again play the game he loves. After returning home, and resting for two months, Willie decides he is going to prove the doctor wrong.
In this episode we follow Willie out of the Junior hockey ranks to Quebec as he plays for the Aces, and then to the big leagues as he plays for the Bruins. We take a trip back in time to Brooklyn to meet one of Willie’s heroes, and then to…a baseball field in Atlanta, Georgia?
